My teammate Eelko L'Abee (Dutch champion sprint so not a real climber) was the fastest in 1h19m.

Are you sure? Hans told me, Eelko is doing a lot of cross (at least with short uphills) and that's why he is so fast in sprint.

1:19 is fine! :daumen:
To Compare I just have my climb of the italian side of Col du Grand St. Bernard (the pass to Ivrea/Aosta after Lake Geneva), which was about 1:10, but without killing me, so 1:05 should be possible. The length was the same, about 14km, but about 250 height meters less (Alpe d'Huez about 1130hm, italian Col du Grand St. Bernard about 880hm) and I think this could be tough. The soft parts of Col du Grand St. Bernard were easy but the steep parts painful, to have this more kilometers or half the way, puuh, I don't think I could do Alpe d'Huez in 1:19.
Unforutanately I'm planning another event the same weekend 2011. It's also in the Alps and I first thought maybe I can combine it, but uhhhhh, I never thought the Alps are that wide from east to west... :mundauf:

Bye
